Flags to Be at Half-Mast in Memory of Staff Member

Campus flags will be at half-mast Wednesday to mark the funeral service for U of G staff member Beth Livingstone, who died Sept. 29. Livingstone was the liaison officer and executive assistant to the chair in the Department of Plant Agriculture.

A visitation will be held Tuesday, Oct. 2, from 5 to 8 p.m. the Wall-Custance Funeral Home & Chapel, 206 Norfolk St., Guelph.

A funeral service will be held in the funeral home chapel Wednesday, Oct. 3, at 1:30 p.m., with interment at the Woodlawn Memorial Park. A reception will follow at the Wall-Custance Family Reception Center.

As expressions of sympathy, the family is suggesting donations to the ALS Ontario or to the Scleroderma Society of Ontario. A tree will be planted in Livingstone's memory in the Wall-Custance Memorial Forest in the Arboretum at a later date.
